Craftohfa (craftohfa.com) is a small handmade craft studio in India. This page explains what personal information we collect when you visit or order from us, why we need it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, write to hellocraftohfa@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Order details: your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery address, the products you order, and any personalisation you type in (for example the name for a My Name Set).
- Account details: if you create an account, your email address, name, saved addresses and order history. Your password is stored only in encrypted (hashed) form.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, phone, WhatsApp or Instagram, such as questions, photos or an unboxing video for a damage claim.
- Browsing data: cookies that keep your cart, login and wishlist working, and basic technical data such as your browser type and IP address, which our hosting provider records in its security logs.
We do not collect or store your card, UPI or bank details. Payments are handled entirely by Razorpay (see below).
Why we use it
- To make, pack and deliver your order, and to contact you about it.
- To process payments, refunds and replacements.
- To run your account, if you create one.
- To answer your questions and resolve problems with an order.
- To keep records we are required to keep by law, for example for accounting and tax.
- To understand how the site is used and how well our advertising works, using the analytics and advertising cookies described below.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share only what each service needs to do its job:
- Razorpay, our payment gateway, which processes your payment. Razorpay’s own privacy policy applies to the payment details you enter there.
- Delhivery, our courier partner, which receives your name, delivery address, phone number and the parcel details needed to deliver your order and send you tracking updates. Your order is passed to the courier only after payment succeeds.
- Hostinger, which hosts this website and its database, and delivers our emails.
- Analytics and advertising services such as Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Microsoft Clarity, when they are enabled. They receive browsing information through cookies, such as the pages you view, and which products were added to the cart or bought, so we can measure our marketing. They do not receive your address or payment details.
- Government or law enforcement authorities, if the law requires it.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep your cart, checkout, login and wishlist working, and the site cannot work properly without them. Analytics and advertising cookies help us understand which pages are useful and whether our ads reach the right people. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, the cart and checkout will not work.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. Account details stay until you ask us to delete your account. Messages and damage-claim videos are kept until the issue is resolved, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up questions.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it (except records we must keep by law). You can also withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Logged-in customers can update their details and addresses under My account. For anything else, email hellocraftohfa@gmail.com and we will reply within a few working days.
Children
Our products are made for children, but this website and its checkout are meant to be used by parents and other adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. The only information about a child we receive is what an adult chooses to give us, such as a first name for a personalised name set.
Security
The whole site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Payment details go straight to Razorpay and never touch our servers, and access to order data is limited to the people who make and ship your order.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
